I have recently left the police force after 8 gruelling long years, prior to that I worked within the NHS .
In my spare time I do voluntary admin work for Protecting preloved Border Collies. I rescue and rehome Border Collies that would end up on freead sites or PTS as most have developed behavioural issues.
I also gather intel on Dog fight activity and professional pedigree thieves. I pass my intel onto the police, again this is voluntary.
I recently lost my young beautiful four legged best friend to a sudden tragic accident . She was a border collie and she was 5 yrs old
My previous dog was an abuse case that required a lot of work and caused many tears, but turned out to be a fantastic loving boy.
I also assist other rescues by doing Homechecks and transport when I am able.
I work independantly, and I prefer one to one walking. That way the dog has my full attention for play aswell as exercise.
I do not dogwalk for money, I dog walk for the enjoyment of being with a dog, and under stand under the current climate that there is much financial pressure on families. Many dogs that I have rescued have been parted with because owners could not commit time to their dog due to work constraints....if by walking someones dog for an hour means that dog can stay with the family they love ...then so be it.

I have experience with troubled and behavioural issue dogs. Particularly collies.
