About Me/ Company

Hi my name is Hannah Bissell, and I offer a friendly, flexible dog walking and dog sitting service. I aim to provide a comfortable, relaxed experience that will make you feel as though you left your much loved pet/s, in the hand of a good, reliable old friend, not a hired walker/sitter. I love all animals, and have experience of dealing with many species including dogs, snakes, bearded dragons, horses and ponies, cats and small animals such as mice, gerbils, hamsters and guinea pigs.

I tailor my service to suit you. Whether you require on or off lead walking, countryside or city location, a one off or regular service, I can draw up a plan to suit you and your dogs needs.

I ask that all animals in my care are up to date with jabs, flea and worm treatments. If you wish for your dog to be taken on group walks, they must also be free of any illness that may effect another dog in the group. Group walks are also subject to temperament. Group walks may not always be available, please enquire for details. I require that all dogs also have had and respond to basic training such as sit, stay and good recall.

I am flexible and am around on weekends and bank holidays although if my services are required on any public holiday I require notification and booking in advance, this is subject to availability, please enquire for more details.

I am based in the Cardiff Bay area of Cardiff and my services extend throughout Cardiff, Penarth and Llandough.

I run this alongside being employed by a local cleaning company, so you can rest assured I am CRB checked and trusted in peoples homes, everyday.

Previous Experience

After walking various family members and friends' dogs, I decided to take my love of this, and try turning it into a little part time occupation.
I have worked for many 'big name' brands throughout my working life such as Nationwide and McDonalds, but none have given me the satisfaction as I have had working with animals.

I have mainly worked with, and have the most experience in dealing with the following breeds:
Labradors
All types of Collies and Collie crosses
Alaskan Malamutes
Labradoodles
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Qualifications & Training

I have started but not yet completed (due to having my son) an animal management BTEC.

I am CRB checked.

I own my own car, am fully insured and hold a full UK drivers license.

I reserve the right to withdraw my services from any dog that shows aggressive tendencies.

Other Services

I am a professionally trained cleaner and can offer basic domestic cleaning services. I can also look after any small animals you may own whilst you are away including Hamsters, Guinea pigs and Rabbits
