About Me/ Company
Hi my name is Rachel. I am a mature, responsible and approachable young woman with a kind heart. I provide dog walking, dog sitting in your home and overnight stays at your home. I am always willing to negotiate rates. I also have experience caring for small animals such as rodents and rabbits. I have one Jack Russel and she is an active dog. I have had alot of small animals as pets growing up, especially gerbils and rabbits. I am very trustworthy and also willing to learn to take care of reptiles if such an oppertunity arises. I also offer house-sitting. I live with my partner and my dog so I am very independant and reliable. I will give your pet all the love and care they need and deserve.
Previous Experience
I have been brought up since the age of 6 looking after mice, gerbils, hamsters and rabbits. I have done all the basic tasks of looking after small mammals such as feeding, cleaning, playing with and basic grooming techniques. I have a very lively Jack Russel who is an attention seeker and a food addict (who I do not overfeed!). I taker very good care of her. At first she had seperation anxiety because of her last owner but my partner and I have been able to reduce how anxious she gets by using an effective technique, which is to ingnore her at certain times of the day. I have tought my dog many tricks that she could not do before. I bathe her, walk her, feed her and love her. I have also toilet trained her and gave her more confidence in general.
I have worked in a hotel and have been a cleaning supervisor for a chain cosmetic surgery clinic. I have had to train poor performing staff and I personally have learned alot of domestic tasks and good techniques for cleaning and looking after a home. I run my own home. I cook, clean, do laundry and help my mildly disabled partner with daily tasks such as shopping and house-work.
