About Me/ Company

Hi I'm Jude and together with my son Aaron, we are Dog Gone Walkies.

Based in Eastwood, on the Derbyshire/Notts border we are ideally suited to reach many locations in and around Nottingham, Ilkeston, Brinsley, Annesley, Heanor and beyond. If your location isn't specifically mentioned, please contact us to check if we cover your area or anywhere close.

I spent many years in the services as a Dog Handler in Australia and have trained Search and Rescue Dogs, as well as Obedience Champions and conducted Dog Obedience Classes. You can find me on several online doggie forums as Deedanelady!!

Having found it difficult to near impossible to find someone to take care of 2 bloodhounds and 2 great danes, we decided to offer our services to others. Now 6 years later, we have relocated to Nottingham and have decided to keep doing what we do best....looking after our canine companions.

We have an fully kitted out vehicle with cage(s) and seat belt harnesses, and have a selection of harnesses and leads at our disposal for walking those that like to pull when out.

We are available to walk your dog, check your dog, feed your dog and generally see to the daily, twice daily or otherwise welfare of your dog on a tailored basis to suit your needs. We cater for cats also....but find they don't like the being walked very much, so we do tend to limit that to the feeding and caring for part.

As there are two of us, we can provide either single dog exercise or group dog exercise according to your dogs suitability, your needs and your budget.

We hold full CRB clearance and full, clean drivers licence.

By arrangement, I am also able to offer overnight accommodation at our home or stay at yours, and longer holiday sitting when required.

Should you have farm or smallholding, or horse(s) I have 25 years experience with them and can offer a service to suit most needs.

Does your dog need regular training, or do you need some assistance with coping with an excitable dog or a dog or fear aggressive animal - I can tailor training for you and your dog into the walking package or discuss training arrangements also.
