The idea for Dog Days And Cat Stays came about when we found ourselves desperate for someone to care for our two elderly cats while we were on holiday. Living in London you often don't know your neighbours, and friends live too far away to help out.
Cats are incredibly territorial and can become very scared and unhappy in unfamiliar surroundings, so we didn't want to subject them to the stress of a cattery.
We needed someone we could trust, who would take care of them in their own home. Not just feed them, but give them plenty of love and attention. In short, someone that would treat them as their own.
Did we find that? Unfortunately not...but you have!
At Dog Days And Cat Stays we provide a friendly, honest, reliable, professional and - above all - loving service to the animals in your life. From dog walks to overnight stays, feeding your pets to taking them to the vet, you can relax in the knowledge that your pet is receiving the best possible care and attention.
Whether you are called away on business for a couple of days, taking a well earned holiday or are just that bit too busy to give your canine friend the exercise it needs, we can help you.
Having lived in Maida Vale for the past 20 years, we are very familiar with all the local streets, parks and canal walks to keep your dogs fully exercised and completely entertained. By providing this service only in the Maida Vale and Little Venice areas, we are always close by for our clients when needed.
Dog Days And Cat Stays is registered with the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters (NARPS), fully insured and CRB checked.

We've owned dogs and cats for over 40 years between us. And rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, terrapins...you name it, we've had it!
