About Me/ Company

I am a mature ex serviceman in my mid 50's, happily married with no committments and semi-retired, living in West Swindon. I am very reliable and punctual and have my own transport. I also have no objection to conveying pets in my car.

I really am a softie with all pets but understand and respect other owner's boundaries. I spent thousands of pounds putting my dog and 2 cats through quarantine on my return to the UK many years ago when the restirctions were much tougher - I hope you will see that as a measure of my feelings and committment towards my own pets. I'll show the same level towards yours too. They are all family members after all.

Previous Experience

I have had cats and dogs most of my life, ranging from farm moggies to Siamese (but orientals are my favourits) and have enjoyed the companionship of a few wonderful dogs over my lifetime, mainly Rough Collies or collie crosses.

I trained as a security dog handler on leaving the Army and am experienced with good dog handling skills and training practices.

I took on the lease of a Boarding Cattery in Oxfordshire for a number of years and am familiar with providing/managing medication and injections.

I have limited experience of horses and am happy to turn them out and bring them in again. Equally, I have looked after chickens in the past too.

I'm also happy to care for small animals too if required i.e. hamsters, rabbits etc.
