About Me/ Company

Hi there, I set up Dee is for Dog following redundancy last year. I’ve always had a love of animals, especially dogs, and decided what better opportunity to start up my own dog walking and pet sitting business, doing something I enjoy and feel passionate about!
I've been up and running for five months now and thoroughly love every part of my job, from walking the dogs, to pet pop-in visits for both cats and dogs, to pet sitting at owner's homes. I am physically fit, a keen runner and used to walking strong dogs, especially Staffords which I have been walking the past twenty years and currently have a rescue SBT.
I currently walk two labradors, a labradoodle, a whippet and a working spaniel, all have lovely temperaments, very sociable and great with other dogs and people.
I have a customised a/c van with 5 cages, am DBS checked, have PLI, am a dog first aider and am registered with NARPS. My website is www.deeisfordog.co.uk, I am also on FB and available now!

Previous Experience

I gained invaluable experience six years ago volunteering at a dog rescue centre in Buckinghamshire. Initially, there to help walk the dogs, I was asked if I'd be interested in helping out behind the scenes. I gladly offered my services, spending quality time with the dogs, playing and caring for them and of course walking, cleaning the kennels, washing the bedlinen and blankets.
