About Me/ Company
I established Dedicated to Dogs Ltd to provide a variety of services to dogs and their owners. I am a 25 year old female with an honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I currently hold a canine first aid certificate, have an up to date DBS check and am working towards becoming a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor. I am continuing my professional development by regularly attending seminars on a variety of canine subjects, including, but not limited to, Scentwork, TTouch and Canine Law.
I currently offer a dog walking service and house sitting for dogs, cats, small furries, reptiles, horses and livestock. I also provide dog training classes at a local venue and one-to-one dog training to deal with dogs that have more complex training and behavioural problems. My training methods are scientifically based, using positive reinforcement to help you communicate with your dogs and stop them displaying embarrassing and frustrating behaviours.
Previous Experience
Due to my experience I am happy with all breeds and temperaments and am able to handle dogs that can be difficult. I use only positive techniques in my training and handling dogs and always want it to be a positive experience for both the dog and owner. I work with several local rescues and guide dogs for the blind providing training and behavioural assistance.
Qualifications & Training
I have a FdSc in Animal Behaviour and Management and a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I have a up to date DBS check and canine first aid certificate. I am also registered with the National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers and am currently working towards becoming an Kennel Club Accredited Instructor.
