About Me/ Company

I live in a village just West of Oxford and I am just starting up as a dog day care/overnight/holiday pet sitting business.

I aim to promote the dog day care as the primary business so that dogs can come on a regular daily basis and have a structured day to suit their temperament and energy requirements, and to feel as though they are in a "home from home" environment

Previous Experience

I have owned dogs for the past 30 years and currently have three dogs of my own: a Golden Retriever, Standard Poodle and a a Yorkie Poo. The last two of these are rescue dogs from Many Tears Animal Rescue, for whom I have fostered over 20 dogs in the last three years. Because of this I have a good deal of experience with different breeds and many different dog problems arising from neglect, lack of socialisation and poor training.

I am currenly puppy walking a lab/retriever x for Medical Detection Dogs. When he has finished his training he will be assisting a child with type 1 diabetes.

Over the past few years I have looked after many dogs for friends and family and I have now decided it would be nice to do this professionally.

Qualifications & Training

I am currently studying a diploma course in canine behaviour with the British College of Canine Studies

Relevant Info

We have a comfortable family home with secure garden and 1.6 acre paddock to play in.

I have set up an "obstacle course" in the field for those who like a challenge!

We also have a horse, a cat and some chickens.
