About Me/ Company

Hi, I'm Debbie. My husband, Andrew and I started DandyWalks Pet Services after I took voluntary redundancy from my job as a HR Manager for Tesco. Working with animals and working together from our home has long been a dream of ours, so after my job ended, we took a deep breath and went for it. I retrained as a Dog Groomer to begin with and after joining NARPS (National Association of Registered Pet Sitters) I completed their training in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. After a couple of months, with things going well, we passed another milestone when Andrew stepped down from his job as a store manager to join me full time in our business. Nearly 18 months later and we are totally loving life. We've got lots of lovely dogs we get to spend our time with every day, but there's still room for more!

Previous Experience

We love animals, so it stands to reason we've shared our home with many over the years. I've previously had the pleasure of owning two beautiful Dalmatians, many years ago, as well as a multitude of Cats. We currently live with - Riley, a 5 month old English Pointer Puppy; Cougar and Tinkerbell, our boy and girl Bengal Cats; Shakespeare and Tigerlily, our boy and girl Maine Coon cats; Bellatrix, our lovely Tabby and finally our three chickens - Vivienne, Audrey and Gwladys. So, lots of experience of animals all shapes and sizes!

Narps Uk Certification in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking;
OCN Certification in Dog Handling and Bite Prevention;
Certification in Dog First Aid;
Scruffy 2 Fluffy Dog Grooming School Certification in Professional Dog Grooming.

Other Services

In addition to Dog walking and Pet Sitting we also run a Grooming Salon from home where we groom both dogs and cats.
