About Me/ Company
I am an experienced animal carer, qualified to Level 2 Animal Care at Bishop Burton College. I have owned dogs most of my life and also owned ponies so I am very experienced being around and caring for them.
Animal care is my chosen career I really want to do something that I enjoy and gives me a lot of satisfaction.
I live in Clayton, which is a small farming village in South Yorkshire near Doncaster surrounded by fields and woodlands which is an ideal environment for keeping dogs.
We have great walks through woodland and fields and your dog would thoroughly enjoy its holiday whilst being in a safe and caring environment.
My home also has large enclosed gardens ideal for the dogs who like to be safe outside, so when your dog comes to stay he/she not only gets one to one care but also an enjoyable holiday.

Previous Experience
My previous experience has included working at a large commercial kennels and cattery undertaking the full range of duties caring for the animals. This included cleaning the kennels out, feeding and watering the dogs and exercising them. and all these jobs I really enjoyed. I also got to play with and interact with some of the dogs which I also enjoyed a lot because I got to know a lot more about the dogs which made me a lot more confident around them.
I also have a dog so I take him for walks, and clean his mess from the garden, I also play with him in the garden and when he has done a good thing like out on a walk like come back to me when I ask him nicely he gets a treat.
My dog and I have a really good bond so we get on really well. I would also try to achieve this with other peoples dogs.
I also worked at the R.S.P.C.A. as a kennel assistant as the work experience part of my course at Bishop Burton College. This included undertaking the full range of kennel duties but the best part was when they were found new homes.
Qualifications & Training
Bishop Burton College – I studied there and obtained a BTEC level 2 in animal care. They have a range of animals at the college, from meerkats and tropical species to dogs cats and farm animals and the course included a lot of practical work looking after them.
