About Me/ Company

Cry Woof Dog Walking & Training is a business committed to providing reliable, experienced and qualified pet services. I have completed courses in dog training and behaviour, allowing you the peace of mind that your dog will be under knowledgable and trustworthy supervision.

Your dog will only be walked with dogs from the same household, or with my dog. This means that I can give your dog a lot of individual attention to ensure their walk is stimulating, interesting - and that you will have a tired out pooch by the end of it! If you are comfortable with me letting your dog off lead, this is something I can trial on a long line, and I will only let your dog off if I am confident that they are reliable at coming back.

Your dog will be walked in an appropriate location local to you. Your dog will never be transported by vehicle without your knowledge.

I have a passion and love for dogs, and understand how much your canine companion means to you. For me, my dog is incredibly important and I would want her to be entrusted in safe hands. Therefore, I aim to provide a service that is caring and dependable, and of the high quality that I would want for my own dog.

My dog is a Siberian Husky / German Shepherd mix named Maya, who is two years old and knows over 150 commands. She is trained in obedience, agility and tricks, and is a big part of my inspiration to set up a caring pet business.

Previous Experience

I have previously worked at a boarding kennels, a commercial cattery and as a professional pet sitter for a variety of species. I have completed volunteer work and placements at a variety of animal care sectors, such as a doggy day care, veterinary practices and animal rescues. I have also volunteered as an assistant instructor at a dog training club. My experience includes being entrusted with the care and supervision of a variety of species.

Qualifications & Training

I have a Centre of Excellence certificate in Dog Training.
I am currently studying towards my BSc in Applied Animal Studies at Moulton College.
I am also studying towards my NVQ Level 4 in Advanced Canine Behaviour with the British College of Canine Studies.

Other Services

I also offer Puppy Visits:
If you have a young dog who cannot be walked yet, a senior dog or a dog recovering from surgery who you wish to be visited and checked on, I offer visits of 30 minutes (£8) or 1 hour (£12).
These visits typically involve letting the dog out to go to the toilet, and spending time with them; playing and giving fuss. I can also refill water bowls or feed your dog.

I also offer 1-2-1 Training Consultations:
£30 for an hour session. If you are having obedience training problems with your dog, such as toileting in the house, pulling on the lead, jumping up, nipping, not coming when called, etc. OR if you just want some extra guidance on refining your dog's training, these sessions can be beneficial to you.
