Dog Walking

About Me/ Company

Cru-ellies is a new dog walking service that will start in the New Year from 5th January 2015. I will be operating around Surrey including, Byfleet, Woking, Weybridge, Walton -on-Thames, chobham, Cobham, Addlestone, Virginia Water and surrounding areas. My standard pricing is £10 an hour. At Cru-ellies though, it is the dogs health and welfare that come first, and I will not discriminate on prices whether your dog needs to be walked by themselves or if they are happy to walk in a group; it is the dogs happiness and welfare that matters most, not the convenience of walking in a group. I will cater to your dogs’ needs, whether they are older or have health issues and need to go on a slower and shorter walk or whether they need an energetic walk and may need longer than just an hour, I will strive to cater to their needs. So please get in contact and give me a ring and we’ll have a chat to see I fulfil your expectations.

Previous Experience

I attended Merrist Wood College for two years gaining work experience with not only dogs but a whole variety of animals. It was at college where I learnt on various work placements and with animals on site how to work with dogs from different breeds, different temperaments, behavioural issues, health issues and how to cope with them. Whilst on veterinary placements I learnt how to perform basic healthcare, which means I can confidently remove ticks, bandage correctly, clip nails and apply flea treatments.
I of course have a dog of my own she is a mix breed half Collie, half German Shepard, I got her when she was two years old and full of energy from a rescue centre, she is now eight and has arthritis. By having her I have learnt how to adapt with walking a dog who could once run through fields chasing a ball running at full pace for hours on end; to now taking things at a slower pace, knowing her limits, and walking regularly but not for long stretches. It is this experience that I want to give to other dogs and their owners so that every dog that I walk has its needs met whether they be old or young, their health and happiness is put first.

Qualifications & Training

I have a diploma of Animal Management and Care achieved at the grade of Distinction * Distinction* Distinction.

Other Services

I will also be offering other animal care services such as feeding of other pets you may have, such as cats, reptiles, small mammals, fish etc. before or after a walk. As well as other tasks such as basic grooming of animals, giving them a brush over with a comb, checking in on them and making sure they have both food and water topped up.
