About Me/ Company

Hello,
My name is Courtney Simon I just turned twenty one two days ago and I am originally from orange county, California. I am new to this country and don't know many people. I usually work with animals as a veterinary nurse but I am now looking for a new experience and a way to meet new people as I don't know anyone here. I was referred to you by a friend at a company called lyme. I have prior experience leafleting an organzing events but I am a fast learner and  can do anything I put my mind to.I am very computer literate. I can use PowerPoint, excel word and ect. I am struggling to find work and really need to do something. I hope to hear from you soon.



OBJECTIVE
To obtain a position at a Veterinary office or other animal care facility, to meet a qualification to enter the PVAS school (below) to become licensed as a Veterinary Technician

Answered messages, took messages, cleaning, data entry, making excel sheets, powerpoints and any other office duties.

Stocked supplies, cleaned animal cages, assisted customers with animal food choices, grooming needs and medicines. Alsoassisted with the mobile Vet Clinics twice a month.

Performed general tasks as assigned both in the front office and in the veterinarians work room. My enthusiasm was recognized by the veterinarian and I was given additional tasks such as grooming, bathing, medicating, walking and exercising the animals. I ensured the cages were kept clean and disinfected. The most exciting part for me was assisting the veterinarianduring surgery taking blood, handling the pets, preparing instruments for surgery and lab testing.
