At the Cognitive Canine Company we're passionate about providing dogs with enrichment and mental stimulation as well as meeting their exercise needs.

During our home visits we provide your dogs with lots of attention along with some enrichment and mental stimulation. We have a whole range of games and activities up our sleeve that your dog will love, and they can really help with some common training struggles too. These sessions can be tailored to suit you and your dog - you may have some training struggles you'd like some help with, or perhaps you'd like them to learn some tricks, or just enjoy some fun enrichment activities. These sessions are great fun for all dogs, but are particularly good for puppies or young dogs that aren't yet ready for longer walks, as well as older dogs, dogs needing crate rest or those with medical conditions that might affect their ability to head out for a long walk. We'll provide a written report each day to let you know how they've got on, and we can also leave you with step-by-step guides to the enrichment games and training activities we've been doing if you'd like to have a go in between sessions. During a home visit we'll always ensure your dog is let out to the toilet, given food as per your instructions and provided with fresh water.

We also offer dog walks on a one-to-one basis to ensure that your dog gets our full attention (if you have more than one dog we're happy to walk them together, we just don't walk groups of strange dogs). Our walks are tailored to your dogs needs, making them perfect for dogs that may be nervous, or don't enjoy the company of other dogs. We can help with things like loose lead walking and only ever use positive, games based dog training techniques so your dog has a lot of fun while they learn.

You can also mix and match a shorter walk with some indoor activities, or alternate between the two.
