Ever since I was a young girl, the thing on every christmas or birthday wishlist was 'A Dog'. For years and years I pleaded with my parents to grant me this wish and eventually they did. I was blessed to have a rhodesian ridgeback called Elvis. Elvis was with me for four years and I must say that they were my best years. Sadly when my parents separated, my dad took Elvis with him. Leaving an empty space in my heart. It does not feel right to me to get another dog just yet, when Elvis is still on my mind. BUT I am looking for someone else's dog to get to know and love. There are plenty of parks where I live, and a local forest/ country park type thing. There is nothing more I would like than to be able to walk there again with a dog lead in my hand.
