I have been a lover of animals all my life and have always maintained a houseful of pets. I currently have 3 cats, 2 turtles and a big lovable golden retriever "puppy" named Harvey who at 35 kg, does not realise that he is NOT meant to be a LAP DOG!! Harvey is great with other dogs, both big and little and really enjoys rough and tumbles with his cockapoo buddies. I have had Golden Retrievers for over 30 years but love dogs of all breeds. I am keen to help other dog owners look after their furry friends and I have spent many blissful hours over the years walking my dogs over Wimbledon Common. Indeed, my evenings would feel empty without my cats blanketing my feet or one of my dogs sitting on my lap while we watch tv.

Previous Experience

As mentioned, I have owned dogs all my life and prefer to walk my dog with doggie friends. I have several clients based in Wimbledon but I also collect dogs in Tooting, Wandsworth and Kingston for walkies. I do extensive dog-sitting as well as overnight sleepovers for a few select dogs. I regularly walk 4-5 dogs at once, off the lead once in the park, but can handle up to 7 at once in a pinch. I train all my guest dogs to come to my voice and reward lavishly with treats. Although off the lead, my walkies dogs rarely leave my side and I can often be seen walking over Wimbledon Common or Cannizarro Park with a swarm of dogs milling about me. It is very important to impress upon owners that my dogs do not form packs and that I do not walk dogs who engender pack mentality. All my dogs get along and acknowledge me as their Alpha which prevents a great deal of bad pack behaviour. We even have a 'school run' group of puppies that we meet every morning and I look forward to introducing others to our happy walkie trails.
