About Me/ Company

Charlie and John's Dog Walking Adventures covers Pontyberem and surrounding area.
Wetake your Dog(s) for Walks, whether it be once a week or once a day, or even just to pop in and let them out to toilet and a play, so they have company whilst your out. We can take you dog out alone or as a group so they can meet new friends. Our walks are never pavement bound, We will take your dog(s) out to Different Country parks in our local area, where there is plenty of space and all dogs can go at their own pace, so Old or Young can all be included in our daily romps. Previous Experience

Husband and Wife Team John and Charlotte Have both grown up around all sorts of animals from mice, cats, dogs to horses, donkeys, sheep and goats, chickens and ducks. We have a love of animals and now have our own pets which consist of 10 cats (Charlotte being a hobby breeder of Norwegian Forest Cats), 2 dogs Izzy and Ziva, a Royal Python snake called Noodles.

Qualifications & Training

Charlotte has a Diploma in Equine Studies in Pembrokeshire College and has studied ABC Small animal care in Coleg Sir gar and both Charlotte and John have passed a Diploma in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking.
John has previously worked as a Estate Manager at a bespoke holiday and training kennels here in Carmarthenshire, where he managed the grounds and woodland, was in charge of the care of a flock of Welsh Black sheep and he would also would help with the dogs. So, as well as his love of animals, He is quite a dab hand at DIY too!
We are Fully Insured and are DBS Checked (Formally CRB check)

Relevant Info

Opening Hours:
8am- 6pm Monday- Friday ( weekends by arrangement).
Hours are flexible subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate times outside our normal hours where possible (This may incur an extra fee of £1 on top of our hourly rate)

Payment:
Dog Walking or Day Care Payment is to be made 1 week after invoice is received by client
For arranged Holiday Pet Care a non-refundable Deposit of £25 is asked to Reserve Your Chosen dates. The remainder of payment is due prior to the clients leaving for their holidays, on the date mutually agreed between Charlotte/ John and the client.

Other Services

Services We Offer In Pontyberem and surrounding area

Cats: We will feed, clean litter trays and provide plenty of cuddles/ play time

Dogs: We Can Feed, let out to toilet, have play/cuddle time. We offer walks too, we can take dogs out solo, with our two or with other dogs we walk and know are good with other dogs, owners will always be consulted as to what they would prefer.

Puppies: We can Feed, let out to toilet, play and cuddle time, We can also take pup's on short walks (Subject to vaccinations)

Small Pets/ fish: We also cater for small pets and Fish. We can feed, clean out hutches and cuddle/handle your furry friends and feed and keep an eye on your Fish whilst you are
away.

Home duties:
We can offer an 'at home' service where we will open/close curtains or windows, Turns lights on/off, Pick up mail, Water plants, put out bins and even mow the lawn if needed to maintain an at home occupancy look whilst you are away. Not only do we take care of your pets we can also help keep you home safe too.



We will not have advertisements on our vehicle whilst Pet sitting when you are away

FEES

Pet Sitting:
£5 per visit up to 20 minutes
Plus £2.50 for every 20 minutes added.
(=£10/hr)
Dog walking:
Per 1 hour-
£8 for 1 dog.
Discounts are given to walk dogs from the same home.
£14 for 2 dogs on the same walk

Per 1/2 hour-
£6 for 1 dog
£10 for 2 dogs on the same walk.

Fees and services will vary depending on requirements of each client. We aim to provide you with the most affordable and best quality Service we have to offer.
