I have recently retired after 27 years of working for an international bank in London and am looking for something to do for a few hours a day that involves a bit of exercise whilst enjoying the countryside with a four-legged companion. I live in Dartford, Kent. This week I have taken on my first dog walking/sitting position and have loved every minute of it. Jasper is a 7 year old Welsh Springer Spaniel who I am sure has benefited from his 3 hour walk in the morning and another hour in the afternoon. I don't think he is quite used to so much walking and is well worn out by the early evening and he takes himself off to bed very contented. I will be very sad to see him go home next Sunday but look forward to seeing him again in the near future. At present I don't want the commitment of owning my own dog but I am more than happy to look after other peoples pets from time to time or on a regular basis whilst they are at work or doing other things in their busy lives. My wife had 2 English Setters at home before we got married and we would often take them for long walks when not at work or on holiday.

Qualifications & Training
Just plenty of enthusiasm, time and care for the job in hand.
