About Me/ Company

Carrie’s Canine’s & Friends is a small family run business in Coventry, which is owned and run by Carrie who has a genuine love and is passionate about animals.
We started simply because of our genuine love and passion for dogs and animals. We are a friendly, professional and reliable Coventry based Dog Walking, Puppy Sitting, Dog Behaviour & Training Consultations, Cat Sitting & Small Pet Care Company who care for your pets as if they are our own.

We have considerable experience and knowledge of working with and owning animals from dogs and cats to guinea pigs.
We are First Aid trained and carry first aids kits, are DBS checked and are fully insured.
Our Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters priority is to provide you with an excellent standard of care and to give you complete trust and peace of mind whilst your pet is in our care.

Our Training School & Behaviour Consultations are set out to provide you with the skills you need to help you communicate effectively with your dog and giving you the skills you need for everyday life.
We will help you build your bond with your dog and their trust in you

Her Journey
Carrie realised working in an office environment was no longer for her, she pursued her dream of working with animals and became a successful franchisee of a local dog walking & pet care company in Coventry in 2013.

Previous Experience

Whilst previously working for the pet care company, Carrie helped build up the business and covered a wide area of Coventry. She has a vast experience and knowledge of working with and owning animals from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and terrapins, so you can be rest assured your pets are in the best of hands.

Carrie decided it was time to venture out by herself and to pursue her passion in training & behaviour and her love of taking care of dogs, cats and small animals. She provides Coventry with an friendly, professional and reliable standard of care for their dogs, cats and small animals.

Qualifications & Training

Training
Carrie is currently working towards becoming a KCAI Accredited Dog Training Instructor and Canine Behaviourist with the Kennel Club and has spent the last 2 years studying Dog Behaviour at IABTC.
Since beginning her studying, she knows how important it is to keep up to date and that you can always learn more. So she regularly attends seminars and training courses to update her knowledge, which is of paramount importance to her.

The Dream
She is passionate about helping people living happier lives with their dogs.
Her aims are to promote responsible dog ownership, to help train dogs to be a well behaved member of the community and to help prevent behavioural issues by educating dog owners about control and their responsibilities. She only uses modern, positive, reward based motivational training with foundation built on science and ethics.

Whilst your pets are in her care, her mission is to ensure the well-being of your pets while you are away from them, and to do it with respect, attentiveness and loving care.
She wants you to be comforted by the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone trustworthy, reliable and compassionate is looking after your pets who are most dear to you.
In our own way, we take care of you, as well.
