About Me/ Company

Hi there!

My name is Carrie. Ever since I can remember I have been surrounded by animals. Which is where I discovered that caring for animals is my true passion! I have experience dealing with all sorts of animals from dog and cats to exotic creatures. Dog walking and doggy daycare is my favourite pass time and I would love to turn it into a career! I find that my calm attitude and active lifestyle really benefit an animal in my care. I also have extensive knowledge within the animal care field which is always an added bonus!

Previous Experience

Animal sitting ( dogs , cats, ferret, hedgehog), which included, daily walks in the dog park, play time with toys, adventuring through trails. Finishing the day with a grooming and cuddle time!

Administration of medications ( if needed)

Volunteer at an animal shelter which included, cleaning enclosures, administration of medications, educating the public on the various animals within the shelter.

Qualifications & Training

Currently completing the AWCP (Animal Welfare Certificate Program) at Thompson River University.
Studies include: Animal first aid, animal anatomy, how to care for domestic animals in different environments, behavioural control and more!
