About Me/ Company

Hi, my name is Caroline, I'm 52 and I love animals, I was a veterinary nurse for eleven years prior to starting a family and going on to university. Over the past few years I have looked after 4 dogs, small, medium, and large, they became my "babies", and I loved them all. I am kind and gentle towards all animals, and I love cats too. I am reliable, responsible, and punctual.

Previous Experience

I have looked after a variety of dogs, as well as cats. people heard/saw that I was good with animals and I got more jobs mainly through word of mouth and by recommendation. I have frequently looked after friend's animals when they have been away, including a poorly chicken, as well as a ferret. I'm fairly versatile, and will look after most animals as long as they're not going to savage me...so I'm afraid leopards and anacondas may be a "no no". I also love birds.

Qualifications & Training

I live in the Keighley area, but have a car, and can travel locally.

As a lay veterinary nurse I didn't need a qualification, but my experience and knowledge of animals is good, and am able to identify when an animal needs a vet, and am capable of administering first aid if required.

If your going away and live locally to Keighley, I am pleased to look after most animals an have experience of looking after a wide variety of animals including a goat, lamb, birds, cats, rabbits, Guiney pigs, a mouse, fish, ferrets,a duck, hedgehogs, tortoises, birds, and friendly snakes. I am confident at giving medication if required, and able to take animals to the vets if necessary.
