About Me/ Company
Hello,
I would like to start that I have always had dogs since a little girl of various breeds as always been a dog lover. Since working in Education I have now left my job as so I can devote my time and energy into my own 3 dogs I have now. One is form a rescue center and my other 2 I purchased. They are all still young and we are think of either fostering or adopting. a fourth as I am so passionate about dogs They are the light of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I walk them taking turns with my partner and train them when there are no distractions when outside which has been a real pleasure. They listen to me more when going on walks as I am with them most of the time and walk them the majority of the time. I am hoping to work with more dogs and looking into attending courses on how dogs behave as so I have a better understanding of these magnificent creatures and hope to work from home.
Previous Experience
My previous experience is having dogs most of my life, before moving to where I am now, I had a bull mastiff and she was a pleasure to walk. My present dogs can pull when excited, especially the one I got from the rescue centre. He would just drag you and pull you constantly, which was very frustrating and it's taken time to work with him but he's a pleasure to walk on the lead. It takes patience and having to be consistent with his training which I still do. Using key words and commands so he listens to me as he can get overly distracted, excited and anxious. So training him still continues and he is only about 21 months. He had no manners when he first came to us when going for walks outside and would pull at every opportunity when he saw any animal, carrier bags, bin liners etc. But even before that, even if there wasn't any distractions, he was an absolute nightmare, you just could not walk him. So we would try training aids and go back to basics and have to try using different methods and resources as at one point, treats didn't work with him, he was so ignorant and you became invisible. Now at present hes a little better and I ave lovely walks with him. He can still get distracted at any point now, but the key is to keep up with his training and he is a very very strong and dog. But it's nice to see he has improved and he's worth it of course.
Relevant Info
I have a pleasant personality with a good sense of humour. I love animals and having my own 3, has helped me to understand certain breeds on ones I haven't encountered before. I just find them such a pleasure and they are pleasure to wake up in the mornings before they go for their walks. They are everything to me so I know owners who are stuck in a position where work can be demanding and they don't want to leave the dog on it's own all day and he/she needs to be walked or to be checked on, fed or some company, don't hesitate to contact me, it will be a pleasure
Other Services
I would also like to offer a service if you would like me to check in on your dog/s and dog sit occasionally if need be.
