About Me/ Company

My name is Caitlin and I am 20 years old. I am based in Carlisle, Cumbria. I have owned dogs for the past 9 years and have had over 5 years experience working in rescue kennels. Dogs are a true passion of mine and I cannot imagine my life without them.

Previous Experience

I worked at Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre, both voluntarily and employed, from July 2007 to September 2012. I have also worked in boarding kennels.

I have gained a lot of hands on experience with dogs and their various behaviours (the good and the bad), and I am confident handling dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments.

I have done pet-sitting for people with up to 8 dogs, as well as looking after litters of puppies while the breeder was away.

I have Canine Carer Certificates in ‘Safe & Defensive Handling’ and ‘Canine Assessment’ from workshops directed by Pam MacKinnon.
