About Me/ Company

I am a freelance proofreader/ sub-editor who works from home. Have a dog of my own (Toby, Lab/ Collie cross, neutered, 2 years old) who needs a good deal of exercise each day, gets on v well with other dogs either in his home or in theirs, and on group walks.

I often take out Toby with my neighbours' dogs, but am also available to take out dogs on their own if they are not happy in a group. Happy to look after dogs in their own home, either to take them for walks from their home, or to look after them in their home if owner is away. V happy to come meet you before any job (walk, sit or daycare) undertaken.

Have clean driving licence, though no dog cage in car, so couldn't/ wouldn't take your dog in car, for safety's sake.

Don't have refs at mo, but can get character refs as required.

Previous Experience

See above for experience with own dog.

First weekend job (at 14) was at my local kennels. During uni years (as mature student at 28), I worked during holidays for Dr Roger Mugford, the dog psychologist and developer of the Halti, the extendable lead, and the Kong. An amazing guy.

We have always had dogs in the family.

As said, am proofreader/ sub-editor/ writer/ researcher. If you have a doggy website, for example, and need someone to read it over for you for 'freshness' (ie, have you updated it in the last day/ week/ month?), v reasonable rates offered for that.
