About Me/ Company

My name is Briony Townsend, I am 18 years old I have always been interested in animals. I’m trying to get out there in the animal industry. I am a happy bubbly young women with the potential to succeed in the job I want which is animals. I am a gentle friendly person and I love all kinds of dogs from small to big! I have owned 3 dogs, Yorkshire terrier, old tyme bulldog and a Staffordshire bull terrier. I have been trying to find some sort of job to do with looking after animals but the right opportunity has never shown up. I am hoping to gain some more experience in the job I love.

Previous Experience

I have lots of experience with animals including a trip I took with my family in 2013 and 2014 to a animal sanctuary in turkey. The week I was there I cleaned kennels, played with the animals, fed and washed them and made there lives a lot happier for the week I was there. But unfortunately due to the funding the animal sanctuary was shut down in 2016 the year I was due to go back. I also have experience walking my friends and family’s dogs & dog sitting them including staying for weekends looking after them for long or even short term. I have previously owned 3 dogs. My love for animals is unconditional.

Qualifications & Training

I have no qualifications in the animal sector... yet. I am doing an on going course which covers.. animal management, grooming, behaviour and psychology. Once I have finished the course I will have certification too prove this. I will then go on to another course of my choice with animals which I feel can benefit me.

Relevant Info

I am available everyday for dog sitting, dog walking etc. I do not drive but I do live in Cheltenham I will be soon to pass my driving test.
