About Me/ Company

Hi, my name is Bernice Henretty, I am single, 43 years of age. I have two male Guinea Pigs, Apache and Mohan (1 year old). I have had in the past a Guinea Pig - Lucky who lived until he was 6 and a male Rabbit Flopsy.

I love Animals, my career background is in Administration/Secretarial work, but after working for over 20 years in this sector I would love to do something different and which I would enjoy doing.

I am interested in becoming a dog walker/dog carer around my local area, which is in Yoker, G14 area of Glasgow.

Previous Experience

Unfortunately I have no previous experience of working with dogs but I would love to learn and start at the beginning. Taking them for a walk 1 hour a day, then building up to more hours eventually looking after them for a night overstay or for holiday breaks. I love all kinds of dogs - big and small! My sister in law has a Westie Millie and she is adorable!

Qualifications & Training

No current animal qualifications but am willing to learn from the beginning.

I look after my Guinea Pigs well, cleaning out the cage weekly, giving them fresh water and straw daily and lots of healthy green food. I take them to the Vets regularly for their claws to be cut and have a regular check up for their health and weight.

I let them run around the flat but if I was looking after a dog I would keep them in the cage with the catch fastened.
