About Me/ Company

Hello,

My name is Beki. I am in my second year of university studying zoology at Cardiff University, but currently undertaking a gap year.

My love for animals came from a very early age when I owned my first pet a hamster called Holly at the age of 4. Since then, my passion for animals has well and truly exploded. After a conservation project in Kruger national park that ended in Mozambique in 2009, I found that my calling was inevitably going to be caring for animals!!

I have had much experience with dogs, my whole family have grown up around them, and I was lucky enough to spend 9 years of them with my dearly missed German Shepard, Strider.

I am passionate about animals, so instead of getting a shop job to fund my gap year in the summer of 2012, I would much rather take up a job I know I would exceed at, caring for pooches!

For dog walking I charge £7ph
For pet sitting I charge between £25-£40 per day, depending on the number of dogs. (Unfortunately I can only provide this service at the pets home as I live in rented accommodation)

Previous Experience

I have previously worked at a dog kennels and cattery in South Mimms, where my duties were dog walking twice daily with up to three dogs at a time, or four to five if they were smaller breeds, feeding, grooming, and general maintenance of the kennels.

As I have grown up around big dogs such as German Shepards, the size of dog does not matter to me, all are welcome!

Other Services

I have also gained much experience with smaller animals over the years, and so can offer pet sitting for the smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc, if needed.
