About Me/ Company

Welcome to Becky’s Barking Buddies providing dog walking and pet care services in South Birmingham, Redditch and Bromsgrove. I offer a large range of services that are tailor made for you and your pets.

I offer 1:1 and group waking, pet visits, pet feeding, puppy care and overnight sitting in their own home keeping their routine as normal as possible whilst owners are out for the day or evening, I cater for all animals.

I live in Worcestershire and I’m a dog owner. I’m guessing my dog Coco is a Jack Tzu, a mix between the Jack Russell Terrier and the Shih Tzu.

I spent many years working in finance. After having my son I wanted to have a flexible work life balance. In 2012 I decided the only way to have it all was to work for myself, I wanted to be dog walker but being a lone parent it was not possible. I started running play group and provided equipment for children’s party. My son wanted a dog from a very young age, we walked a friends dog for many years. When he became an age to understand the responsibility of a dog owner we visited Birmingham dogs home. We rescued Coco in April 2019. The dogs home estimated her age as four months old. Ideally I wanted an older dog, everyone wants a puppy. My son was 9 at the time, Coco was his birthday present. Most dogs at the dogs home were not suitable for children under the age of 13. We were so lucky to have found Coco, it was instant love. Coco is very happy, bouncy and playful, a little naughty, Coco tries to get a seat at the dinner table!
All of the dogs I care for I treat them as if they were my own. I understand they are an important members of every family. My aim is to ensure your pets are well looked after, happy and content, they will be walked in various locations depending on where you live, keeping walks stimulating and interesting, from parks to canal tow paths to fields where they can charge around burning off some energy, whilst keeping mentally stimulated with lots of different sights, sounds and smells. I can let your dog off leads or if you prefer your dogs can go on long lines giving them plenty of room to run and play yet still being secure and safe.

You will receive updates via whatsapp of our walks to enable you to see what your dog has been up to. Once the walks have been completed I can send you a map showing where they have been walked and duration again enabling you to see that they have been walked for the time agreed. No walks are too long or short I offer walks from 15 minutes for puppies up to hours depending on your dogs capability and requirements.

A free of charge consultation is always carried out before any services commence, to enable pet owners to complete registration forms, for myself to meet both you and your pets and start to build a relationship. This also ensures both Becky’s Barking Buddies and pet owners are completely happy before any walks or services commence.

Previous Experience

When Coco joined the family it was the perfect time to start dog walking, life is too short not to do something you truly love. I have a big passion for dogs and the outside space. In July 2019 I started walking for another business. I launched Becky’s Barking Buddy’s when the corona virus hit. I needed an alternative way of protecting my income during quieter periods.

Other Services

I offer group walks between 11am - 1pm, maximum of 6 dogs, only neutered dogs that are sociable and are up to date with their annual vaccinations will be able to join the group.
I will ensure your dog(s) spends a minimum of 1 hour in a secure private 7-acre field based in Cofton Hackett. Travelling times will not be charged.
1-2-1 walks will be carried out between 9am-11am and 1pm-4pm.
