About Me/ Company

I have just taken early retirement I have worked for 35 years as a Teaching assistant in a primary school. I absolutely loved working with children but due to the increasing demands of the job and my age I felt ready to leave for a new venture. I rather feel dogs are a little like children. They can be adorable,mischievous,full of energy and fun and sometimes need a firm but gentle approach. I absolutely love dogs and we always had a dog in our home from when I was young. We usually had poodles or westies as my brother had allergies. We had a very placid poodle who enjoyed sitting in my toy pram with a hat and coat on being pushed around the garden and absolutely loving this!! So funny to think about with very happy memories!!

Previous Experience

I have always known a dog in the family. I have a Lhaso Apso who is 8 years old. He is very lazy and likes to sleep all day and have 1 long walk in the evening. He is so funny in personality and mannerisms!! Very particular in likes and dislikes
I also have a hamster called Oreo because he looks like an Oreo biscuit which is my 14 year old daughters pet.

Qualifications & Training

No actual animal welfare training but lots of experience of looking after a dog as I have my own.
I have lots of love and attention to give to a dog in need of a walk.
Will be good exercise for me too!!
