About Me/ Company
I am an ex Animal Health Officer with local Government and hold qualifications in Animal Health, Welfare and Law...I have owned my own dogs for over 40 years and now find my life is very empty without them, but as it would not be practical to have my own dogs any more, feel that I could offer other loving dog owners the chance for their dog to be cared for in their absence.
I have been working on a self-employed basis for a couple of years now, caring for a variety of animals. I have also cared for my friends' dogs both walking/sitting and they all agree I am a natural, as I have the time, care and patience and treat every dog as a special individual.
I have been a volunteer at a Dog Rescue Centre and as well as walking dogs, have been involved in working with some on their rehabilitation and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity. I am also experienced in dealing with deaf and blind dogs. I am also a volunteer with the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement Support Service.
I have a current Dog First Aid certificate and also a DRB check.
I am reliable, honest and hard working - putting the dogs' needs/happiness first.
Previous Experience
Owned own dogs for over 40 years, ranging from one dog in household to 5 and in size from dachshunds to Old English Sheepdogs.
Have cared for dogs who are recovering from serious operations and need regular monitoring and medication.
Have cared for rescue dogs who are not used to a home environment and worked with them in my own home to socialise/rehabilitate them.
Volunteered in Dog Rescue Centre.

As I work on my own on a self-employed basis so you can be assured that your pet will always be cared for by the same person each time.
Other Services
I also offer other pet care/sitting services such as rabbits, cats etc . I can also take your pet on its' final journey if you have arranged this but feel that you cannot go yourself.... all done with the utmost care and dignity....having gone through this awful day many times with my own pets. I am also a trained volunteer for the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement Support Service.
