About Me/ Company
My name is Aoiffe, I grew up around dogs, and have always had a profound love and connection to them. I'm currently studying Biology with aspirations to study veterinary medicine. My availability will be flexible around lectures.
I own a 9-year-old Shih Tzu named Tilly who loves to accompany me on long walks and hikes. She is very calm and good with other dogs and would be great company for your dog should you require boarding. She is also a great off leash and would be a great example for your dog if needed.
I am comfortable with all types of dogs and am used to working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I feel comfortable working with dogs with behavioural problems and disabilities.
If you require me to stay at your home, you can trust that things will be just the way you left them and your pet will be happy and healthy!
Previous Experience
I have just returned from Mexico, where I lived and worked at a dog rescue caring for and domesticating stray and abandoned dogs. I had been walking up to 22 dogs a day, sleeping with them, and feeding them. I was also handling their medicines, dressing wounds, carrying out medical baths and other essential medical care for some of the very sick dogs we had. We took the dogs out twice a day including special beach walks and mountain hikes.
I have been grooming my Shih Tzu for a few years and had also groomed many different breeds in the dog rescue.
