About Me/ Company

Hi my name is Anja, I am 25 and live in Bedfordshire. I am a very caring and personable individual that loves looking after all sorts of animals. I will care for your pet as if they were my own.

I have lots of experience looking after a wide range of animals, including domestic farm animals, zoo animals and exotics (amphibians and reptiles)

I have a loveable cavalier king charles spaniel called Josh that loves going for walks in the countryside especially with other dogs, a beautiful tortoise shell cat called Tess and previously owned two russain dwarf hamsters called Jaime and Sparky and until recently two Western Hognose snakes called Ellie and Felix.


I offer a dog walking service/ pet sitting and overnight stays at very reasonable rates either one-to-one or group walks up to 4 dogs so each can have a lot of attention.

I walk in many different locations around Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and parts of Cambridgeshire to give the best enrichment for you furry little companion. I also offer a dog/cat sitting service (feeding and cuddles etc) and daycare within your home so your pets can have all the comforts and smells if home

Previous Experience

Aside from having my own pets I have cared for and looked after pets belonging to friends and family for several years.

During my gap year I have undertaken many volunteer projects in the UK and abroad with a variety of species. I have spent two months volunteering for the riding school for the disabled, three months as a ranger assistant at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve in South Africa. I have also volunteered as a zoo keeper for four months at Hamerton Zoo Park with domestic farm animals, big cats, many monkeys and maned wolves.

During my university studies I have volunteered as zoo keeper at Paradise Wildlife Park and spent two months at Durrell Wildlife Conservation trust in Jersey within the reptile house, bird house and education centre and one month at The Colobus Trust in Kenya caring for sick and injured monkeys. I also was employed at Thurleigh Farm Center for several months as the soul animal keeper.

Qualifications & Training

I have a Foundation Degree in Animal Science from Writtle College (Essex University) and looking to further my education in canine studies
