About Me/ Company

I have always been an animal lover and have cats, dogs and chickens of my own. I volunteer for various animal charities as a Fosterer. I currently have 4 foster cats and 3 foster dogs in my care. I am fully trained to microchip pets and I am an experienced dog walker (walking 5 dogs at a time at present!) I have just been made redundant from my normal day job and am looking to expand into the animal care profession which is something I thoroughly enjoy. I can offer one on one or multiple dog walking, transporting to the vets or groomers etc, doggy daycare and dog sitting. I provide a professional and friendly service at very reasonable rates.

Previous Experience

I was previously the Volunteer Welfare Team Leader for my local Cats Protection. That role included everything from treating the cats and kittens for parasites, microchipping them, taking them to the vets, assessing them for injury, disease and behaviour etc. These skills are also applicable to dog care. I have previously owned a Dogue de Bordeaux and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (the latter of which had Rage Syndrome so I am not put off by dogs with aggression issues). I have experience with breeds ranging from toy (Pomeranian/Smooth Coated Griffon, poodle) to large (GSD, Dogue de Bordeaux, Bulgarian Shepherd) and everything in between (Staffies, Collies, Sharpeis, JRTs, cross-breeds etc.)
