About Me/ Company
Animals at Home (National Forest) Ltd is part of the UK's largest pet care franchise. We are based in Burton on Trent and cover the area that includes, Burton on Trent, Swadlincote, Littleover. Mickleover, Hilton, Tutbury, Barton under Needwood, Alrewas, Measham and surrounding towns and villages. My wife and I provide a reliable, caring, flexible and professional dog walking service on a regular or ad hoc basis. We walk owners dogs as individuals, not as a larger group. We are CRB checked and insured for both the care and custody of your dog and carry public liability insurance. We are also members of the Derbyshire County Council Trusted Trader Scheme.
Previous Experience
We have 4 years experience with our current dog walking and pet care business, looking after dogs, cats, small pets as well as poultry, birds, reptiles and varous oter animals. We are currently owners of 2 dogs as well as having had dogs in the past as well as other pets.
Qualifications & Training
I am veterinary trained and certified in animal handling and first aid. Our primary vehicle is a registered Animal Ambulance with Defra and AHVLA.
Relevant Info
Our dog walking rates can be flexible to meet you and your dog's needs. Our standard 40 minute walk is £10 for a single dog, £15 for 2 or more up to a maximum of 4 dogs from the same owner. Other walk times are negotiable.
We are members of the Derbyshire County Council Trusted Trader Scheme.
Other Services
In addition to dog walking we offer a full range of pet care services including Dog hosting, Cat care, Small pet care, Poultry care, Aviary bird care, Reptile care and also have experience with goats, sheep and pigs. We provide a local pet taxi service to the vet and/or groomers as well as UK wide pet transport in our registered Animal Ambulance. Our Animal Ambulance provides an emergency 24/7 service. We also provide a caring, sympathetic and compassionate pet cremation service, with guaranteed individual cremation for your beloved pet.
