About Me/ Company

Hello my name is Steve and I have been lucky enough to turn a life time passion for animals into a full time career. I live with my wife Julie who supports me with the business and our Labrador Toby (who mostly supports his own stomach!) in rural Kent a county I was born in and love.
My involvement with animals started at a very young age as I was born in a pet shop! My grandparents and uncles owned a number of shops and businesses centred on animals and pet care. In those days there were few animal sanctuaries so the local community would bring us all nature of waifs and strays ranging from dogs and cats to fox cubs, owlets and grass snakes! I got used to handling and respecting animals of all types (I have the scars to prove it!)
I am fully insured and hold full Public Liability insurance. We run a fully insured animal ambulance which is DEFRA/AHVLS approved and licensed. The ambulance has been designed and fitted with your pets comfort and safety in mind. This vehicle is available for trips to vets, groomers, house moves and veterinary emergencies. We can also offer UK wide and European transportation of your pets.
My aim is to provide you with a tailor made solution for the care of your animals that addresses our individual needs. Rest assured your pets will be treated with the same care and attention I give my own animals.

Previous Experience

My personal ‘menageries’ over the years have included dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, fish, terrapins and many, many others.

Qualifications & Training

I have completed training courses in animal handling, first aid and pet nutrition. I have also been CRB checked and cleared.
I am fully insured and hold full Public Liability insurance. We run a fully insured animal ambulance which is DEFRA/AHVLS approved and licensed.
