Hi! I’m Lucy from Sunbury. I’d love to help make sure your pups aren’t lonely and will do anything to help keep the little furry ones happy! I’m very affectionate and just adore animals (a lot more than the majority of humans!). I’m very active and love exploring all the wonderful parks and woodlands we have here in Surrey (in any weather). I’m 34, and am a landscape artist, and have lots of time on my hands
Previous Experience
I have owned dogs all my life, and unfortunately my Doberman x Alsatian passed away last year aged 14 ðŸ˜. I used to walk and sit for dogs in the Teddington area a few years ago when I was living there, but I’m not a big crowd walker as I believe dogs need more specific care and attention. I just like to spend time one-on-one with the little furry friends and I miss my Charlie terribly so am caring for dogs to pass that love on. They will always get lots of cuddles and be spoiled for attention from me. Although I’m still very sensible with treats (as being overweight does not help our pups in old age!) I’m a seasoned hiker, so no matter the dog type, they will always get the right amount of exercise and playtime for their breed
Qualifications & Training
I am not stern / pro / greedy trying to cram in dogs and earn as much as possible. I’m doing this in my spare time because I have the time and love to give, and hate to think of doggies feeling lonely. At home I currently have a no dogs, and I currently only walk and sit for one Pomeranian and an Australian Shepherd dog 2-3 days a week. So I have lots of space to give full attention to your pet! I’m mature, and will follow all instructions on how best to manage your pet. I’m also happy to take on more difficult or shy animals.
Relevant Info
I don’t have set rates, I just want to cover my time and petrol and tax expenses. So please make an offer of whatever you can afford. I’m happy to collect and drop off pups in my car, and walk or sit for them from your home. Please get in touch with any questions!
Other Services
Unusual, but I also sometimes visit elderly people just to have a cup of tea and a chat, as sometimes this can mean the world to someone. This is a charitable exercise so I would not expect any payment, but if there was anyone who you know of that may appreciate a friend, I’m always happy to give my time
