About Me/ Company

Aged 23 with 2:1 BA Hons in Counselling & Psyhotherapy.
Currently a Learning Support Assistant working with children with learning difficulties within a main stream highschool in Leeds. I will be leaving this job on 7th March to move to Crewkerne Somerset, as my partner has recieved a secured job there.

This provide opportunity for me to fullfill my desire to work with animals. I have a passion for animals, possibly a result from being deprived of them as a child; no pets! As an adult I have and am continuously visiting farms, zoos and safari parks- I can't get enough! I have already begun crossing off my lifes tick lists, having swam with dolphins and rode a horse; my next will be to have an encounter with seals.

Although I love spending time with animals I am more than happy to wash muddy mutts, groom matted moggies and pick up poop... nothing fazes me.

Previous Experience

'Pet less' but full of experience. Always cared for animals; walking (and dressing) families dogs, feeding/grooming/adminstering medication daily to my partners cat Lucy. Even nursed hedgehogs, mice and racing pigeons back to health. When on holiday last year couldn't hide away from my passion and ended up feeding abandoned and homeless kittens daily.

Currently have 2 dwarf hamster; Mr Shmiggles and Nibbles. My partner and I love our pets so much that were designed and created a 4 storey house the fluff balls out of shelving and chicken wire. We wanted them to have a good life with lots of space. Sounds crazy unless you truley love animals!

Pets are not just animals, they are part of someones family, so when your pet is under my responisiblity I will love, care and supervise them as if they were my own.

Qualifications & Training

Having worked with children I relate to animals the same- they need alot of care and attention.

With all the experience I have with animals I am confident in taking good care of any animal.

Dedicated to being thorough I always research to ensure my knowledge is accurate, so what ever your animals breed I will learn about their behaviour, diet and abilities. Of course the person who knows them best and can provide me with the important information is yourself.
