Hi my name is Marie and animals are my passion.
I'm long term unemployed and likely to stay that way unless I work for myself. I asked myself 'What do I enjoy, what am I good at?' - the answer - ANIMALS. So here I am taking my first steps towards self-employment.
I'm 58 years of age and have worked in the care and support sector for many years, working with learning disabilities, vulnerable young adults and mainstream learning support and do voluntary mentoring with foster children.
I don't have pets of my own as they're not allowed where i live, so this job will enable me to have my 'animal fix' and hopefully make a living!

Previous Experience
I've had dogs and cats for over 20 years, looked after a variety of pets for family, friends and neighbours. One small holding I stayed at in Wales, I cared for chickens, geese, ducks, dogs and a horse. I've been involved in animal rescue, rescuing, rehabilitating and then rehoming them.
Other Services
If staying at your home to look after your pet whilst you go on holiday, am willing to groom pets, give any necessary medication, water indoor plants, take messages and parcels.
