About Me/ Company

My name is Valerie Bennett and I own and run The Animal Behaviour Business. I am a qualified Pet Behaviour Counsellor with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour from the University of Lincoln.

The Animal Behaviour Business provides a service for pets with behaviour and training problems.

More than 40%* of pets are believed to have some form of behavioural problem and in most cases this can be rectified with the correct management and advice.

I help with pet behaviour problems, including aggression towards people and other animals, separation issues, noise sensitivity, house soiling, compulsive behaviours such as spinning, over-grooming, and attention-seeking behaviours. I only use positive, reward based methods.

My unique approach comes from a solid scientific background, an ability to work with clients and coach them through what can be a difficult and upsetting time, and practical experience with animals.
