About Me/ Company

I'm a first year Environmental Science student studying remotely in my hometown of Porthcawl. I've got a background in hospitality and outdoor education, but I'm looking for a more active and outdoor based part-time job role currently.
With a keen interest in surfing and cycling, I've made myself familiar with outdoor spaces local to the Porthcawl area and most of South Wales.

Previous Experience

I've had dogs from a very young age; a range of breeds like Spaniels, Jack Russells and currently I have an older German Short Haired Pointer. Also, I've kept, ridden and worked around horses from a young age, which I've learned transferrable skills relevant to animal welfare.
I've walked dogs on a casual basis with and without their owners but never taken payment for it. This would be my first year working in the industry formally, where I hope I can make a part-time living while at university.

Qualifications & Training

I will be undertaking relevant courses like animal first aid, animal behaviour and in time a professionally accredited dog walker certificate from the British College of Canine Studies.

Other Services

I have my own car, Ford Focus Estate, which will fit a large dog in the back. So I can take the dog(s) to other areas if the owner would like me to, the step height to the back of the car is relatively low for ease of access for the dog.
