About Me/ Company
Hi! I am relatively new to London and am here with my husband (due to his job transfer) and our two dogs. We live in Notting Hill. I am from the Northern California city of San Jose. I have had a life-long love of dogs and have owned dogs of various breeds since childhood. My philosophy is that life is just too short; one should love what he or she does. I cannot think of a better way to earn a living than to work with dogs and share my love with them. I work well with dogs and they usually love me, because I am gentle.
Previous Experience
I came from a healthcare background, most recently after working 13 years at Stanford University. Many animal ailments and issues are similar to those experienced by humans. My training has helped me to spot potential issues, many times before they blossom into a larger health problem. I am professional, honest and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
Qualifications & Training
I have owned dogs nearly my entire life. From the time I was a small child, I remember begging my mother for a dog. She was always hesitant, because she felt that the onus would be on her. She finally gave in and allowed me to have my first puppy when I was 9 years old; this was contingent upon me caring for most of the dog's needs. This taught me a great deal about responsibility: feeding the dog properly, toileting the dog, training the dog, walking the dog, etc. My dogs are treated as my children; your dog(s) will be treated equally as well. I have cared for my dogs during illnesses. If you are looking for an honest, caring adult to care for your dog(s), I am the person to contact.
Other Services
I appreciate the fact that with today's challenging lifestyles it is often difficult to find the time to take dogs to their veterinary visits and other appointments. I am happy to help you with this, as long as you have made arrangements with your veterinarian or other provider. I am open to other assignments, as well, just ask me!
