About Me/ Company

My name is Amelia. Over the years my family has had lots of different animals as my Dad is a vet and we have enjoyed having a menagerie. My pets include donkeys, a pony, dogs, a cat, guinea pigs and ducks. We have also had several litters of puppies at home that I have helped rear.

Previous Experience

Our family has done dog boarding over the years and it has been my job to walk them along with our own pet dogs, ensuring that they were happy, exercised and fitted in with the rest of the dogs.
I have worked as a Veterinary Nurse Assistant for a year and have completed the Veterinary Care Assistant course at Writtle College. In 2015 I will begin the 2 year Veterinary Nursing course. I also work part time at a dog grooming parlour. Working as a Veterinary Nursing assistant and as a dog groomer has given me a background knowledge of medical care and behaviour to ensure the animals are kept calm and happy and it has further added to the confidence I have handling animals.

I am a qualified Veterinary Nursing Assistant and also have passed exams in Stable Management.
I have a full UK driving license and have my own transport.
