About Me/ Company

Living in Faversham, Kent, I really enjoy the outdoors, especially experiencing it by walking with dogs but I also love cycling, gardening, just being out in nature and fresh air. I am a part-time freelance artist, running creative workshops, which gives me lots of available time. I really value the relationship we have with animals, and dogs in particular. I aim to treat every dog I look after as my own, and will get to know your dog gently and carefully, with consideration for its particular needs and likes, which is what makes the job so interesting! I am happy to walk in all weathers and terrains and am always keen to find new paths and walking routes so we can explore the wonderful country around me or go to your dog's favourite spot.

Previous Experience

A family of animal lovers, we have 3 chickens, a cat and 2 dogs at home, both dogs are rescues and they are a big part of our family. I grew up with dogs from the age of about 2 and remember sharing my playpen with our Bassett Hound! We then had various combinations of wire-haired dachschunds which were my after-school companions. I spend at several hours with our dogs most days, walking, playing, cuddling and re-inforcing their training, which I believe is vital; we have trained Ivor, our super friendly Jack Russell cross (4 yrs), up to Silver standard (he will have to repeat Gold!) and Juno, our affectionate greyhound lurcher (2 yrs), has passed her Silver course and has grown in confidence with new dogs and people very well. There is a strong bond between Ivor and myself which I put down to the fact that he came to work with me when he was a puppy. It has been brilliant observing the relationship between Ivor and Juno and the fun they have playing and exploring.
