About Me/ Company

Hi there.
I have recently returned home to Devon,sadly minus my lovely old collie cross. I have had several dogs in my time including three black labradors ( mad as hatters!),collie crosses, a whippet cross, and a huge english setter cross who was convinced she was the size of a yorkie and spent a large part of her day trying to sleep in my handbag ( yes,I know it was a large bag, but even so...).
I have three children, all now grown and gone, but they all loved animals as well, so we've had several cats, guinea pigs,birds,stick insects, rats, and so on, and so on......

Previous Experience

I have been working in community care and support. This involves the whole family, including the four-legged members. I have taken the dogs for walks, ensured vet appointments are kept, even if the owner cannot attend. I have sat with the animals when the owners are in hospital or attending outpatients, and sadly buried both dogs and cats in gardens after having a beautiful little 'service'.
I love all animals and have rescued many from terrible circumstances, often taking them home to live with me. Sadly I now have just one elderly female cat with me who is too frail to cope with any other animals. This means that I cannot have your pet at my home, but I am always happy to care for your pets at your home.
