About Me/ Company

My name is Akshata Ashok, I am a 21 year old student from India who just came to Edinburgh to study at The University of Edinburgh. I am studying an MSc in applied animal behaviour and animal welfare at the Royal dick school of veterinary sciences. I am looking for part time dog walking or pet sitting jobs.I have two rescue dogs back home in India and miss them terribly. Therefore I’m looking for part time jobs involving dogs and other animals.

Previous Experience

I have had a lot of experience with animals. Back in India I used to volunteer at high capacity shelters and took care of many injured and abandoned small domestic animals and big domestic animals. I have also done a few courses such as Dog emotion and cognition by duke university, dairy production and management by the University of Pennsylvania etc....

Qualifications & Training

I have done a certification course for Sensory motor integration for dogs in trauma and a Canine 101 certification course as well. I am very passionate about all animals and will do my job with great care.
