About Me/ Company

I am a huge animal lover and have grown up around many species of animals, from sea horses to dogs to cockatiels. I have recently graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc in Animal Science, with modules including Animal Welfare and Environment and Companion Animal Behaviour of particular interest to me.

Previous Experience

I have volunteered at my local RSPCA centre whereby roles included cleaning of the kennels and feeding of the dogs as well as interacting and exercising the dogs of whom ranged in size and breed.
During my time at university in Newcastle, I also dog-walked at a local dog shelter where I was able to gain more experience in dog handling.
With my family all showing a great interest in animals, I have had many pets including the adoption of a Guide Dog Puppy for the Blind Association. This involved the basic behavioural training of the Guide dog over a year-long period which was hugely rewarding.
Not only have I gained work experience with dogs, but experience at veterinary surgeries, dairy farms and a small urban farm have allowed me to gain hands-on experience with many different species.
