About Me/ Company

I've always loved dogs. For a dog walking site, that's an obvious place to start. I've owned two dogs; the first was an energetic 2 year old Border Collie when I was 7 or 8. After we had to give him up, I learned everything I could about dog behaviour and how to better look after them.
5 years ago, we got another dog, this time a beautiful labradoodle, runt of the litter. She was only a pup so I trained her and she now knows (loosely) her right paw from her left and when to calm down if there are children or people who are uneasy around dogs.
I am fantastic with all animals as I can stay calm which is then reflected back from said animal. I don't use unnecessary force and prefer the slower but stronger method of getting to know the dog and building trust, which is - as I see it - a healthy balance between the treat and reward and the tough love techniques.
I'm currently in Bangor University studying English Lit and with a subject that requires more reading than lecture time, I have a lot of free time. I am therefore only around during mostly term time but be it week day or weekend.
