About Me/ Company

I am 26 years old, I have got my own dog - Springer Spaniel - Tiffin.
I started walking Tiffin (3yr) and his house mate Venus(12yr) in 2011, their owner emigrated to Canada and whilst I did want to re-home both sadly I don't have enough space :(, I chose Tiffin as he fits into my fitness fanatic lifestyle a little bit easier than Venus. I have been living with Tiffin and my cat - Coco for nearly a year now.
Tiffin's previous owner had Tiffin trained as a gundog and whilst we haven't done any competitions together it is still something he very much enjoys and so we do regular training.
Tiffin also joins me on my running training with partner/run club......he makes us all very jealous!

Adventure Paws is a professional dog walking business where I like to ensure your dogs are not only tired at the end but also happy! For most dogs I like to get them swimming as this is great exercise for the whole body and a bit of a variety/challenge.

I like to walk the dogs for upto 90 minutes - enough time for them to chill/stretch, bit of training and then chill/play. This routine is proving to work well on my own dog...whose attention span can have a tendancy to waiver....

If your dog(s) were to stay with me they would be taken on 3 walks a day and 3 breaks. Breakfast walk - 5:30/6am 20 mins, Break - 9/9:30am, Lunch walk 12/12:30 - 90 mins, Break 4pm, Dinner 5pm, Bedtime walk 6/6:30pm 20 mins, Break just before bed.

Previous Experience

I have been dog walking for 3 years now, whilst I have re-homed one of my first dogs I have also got another dog whom I walk around Darley park.
I have lived around dogs,horses and cats for most of my life.
I have worked in a veterinary surgery for 5 years.

Qualifications & Training

I have got my dog grooming certificate level 1.
National Diploma in Horse Management - not exactly relevant to dogs but believe the management in each individual species is not all that different - they both require exercise, love, training, food/treats and water.

Other Services

I am happy to groom/clip your dog, I am not a professional dog groomer and only know one clip.....grade 1-2 all over, this clip suits my springer very well.....had less snags on thorns. Happy to groom with a brush.
If you want a professional dog groomer I'm more than happy to recommend my dogs groomer - he goes every now and then for a proper clip/bath and general fuss day!
