Previous Experience

A keen animal lover all my life, from the age of 16 I began working with horses. Over the years I gained some British Horse Society qualifications as well as the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate of Horsemanship.
Since 2005 I've worked on an open farm, caring for animals such as pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, llamas and chickens. I show chickens at various local and county shows and last year I reared and clicker trained an orphan lamb who now enjoys putting on small agility displays for visitors to the farm.

I have owned several different breeds of dogs including border collies, a husky and a German shepherd. I am also a keen reptile keeper and currently own a corn snake, rat snake, royal python and a blue tongued skink.

I am also experienced in administering basic first aid and medication to animals, including subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
